Due to circumstances beyond our control,
we have had to close the doors of the Piopio Hotel.

We would like to thank all the wonderful people we have met
while living here and running the Piopio Hotel for their patronage.
Meeting you all, the laughs and good times certainly enriched our lives.
I know it is sad not only for Jennie and myself but for you also.

As we have always said, every small town needs its pub.
It is not only a place to drink,
it is somewhere to meet with friends and enjoy their company,
to celebrate,
for companionship,
or to just chew the fat with or have a few laughs.

It also provides much needed accommodation,
and separate restaurant and functions fascilities.

We will miss you all and wish only good things for you in the future.
Piopio is a wonderful town, of which you should all be proud.
We consider it a great loss that we will no longer be able to share in this with you.
